Welcome to My Animation Mindspace!

So, this is my first post here on this blog, huh? Given that my laptop adapters aren't doing too well and one is coming on the way in a few days (along with my new tablet not having a mouse port), I decided to go through with making my own blog. I have been thinking about making one for quite a while, but I have now gotten the will to do so. And here we are now, at my own blog: SomeCartoonLover's Animation Mindspace!

What's This Blog About?

I have been toiling over the idea for a blog about talking about animation for quite a while. I've noticed a lot in animation discourse that there are some key observations I noted that I wanted to talk about that should be looked into. Some of these are not good observations that need to be discussed in order to correct and/or bring them into the spotlight to see why these problems arise. BlueSky and Discord can only do so much with what I want to talk about. I want to be elaborate with what I say so that people could understand clearly what subjects I'm talking about

With that said, there's a lot more I wanna discuss with this blog of mine. I'd like to talk about theories I have regarding how people perceive certain types of animation, the animation industry as a whole, and how people should discuss animation on a level regarding it as an art form. While the cartoon community has tried to do this, it seemingly needs a push to discuss animators and artists and their work. I want to platform animators to have them discuss their works and how people see them, alongside allowing for a way to have people who are fans of animation communicate with people who work there in a civil manner.

I believe that by uniting the consumer and the producers of what the consumers, well, consume, in a community where both can discuss with each other that we can allow for the spread of ideas and actions supporting animation in a louder, more impactful way. The division people have with discussing with others due to this distinction is something I observed that I want to elaborate more on.

With all that said, I'd love to talk more about my philosophies and perspectives in further blog posts discussing the animation medium. If you can in the future, please take a read with future posts. I'd love to hear your feedback and to spread ideas out to the world so that the animation medium can be helped out.
